Winning primary school attended prize workshop
We are delighted to announce that the winner of the Primary school poster competition "Bee is for Biodiversity" is Easterfield Primary school.
The entire school contributed to the poster, and all 19 pupils travelled to Aberdeen for their prize workshop. The pupils enjoyed learning all about the different types of Bees we have in Scotland, understanding their importance and thinking about why we should be planting wildflowers. The class were then able to meet a Beekeeper, who answered their many questions, explored the botanic gardens and conducted a Bee survey.
Congratulations to Easterfield Primary School!
Runner-up prize was awarded to Cornhill Primary school.
