Take a look at the explosion of scottish wildlife that takes place when Spring arrives.
Free nature sessions are on offer for families looking for something to do with the kids over the first week of the Easter break.
Spring has Sprung is the name of the events organised by the University of Aberdeen's Natural History Centre and taking place on Monday (March 29) to Friday (April 2) between 1pm and 4pm.
Paul Skevington, Education Intern at the Centre, said: "Spring has finally arrived so we'll be encouraging our visitors to take a closer a look at the brilliant biodiversity of our native plants and animals that are now just emerging from their long winter rest.
"We'll be investigating beautiful birds, bizarre beasties and fabulous flowers in the classroom at the Natural History Centre.
"We'll also bee discovering the delights of spring in a trail through the neighbouring Cruickshank Botanic Garden. It promises to be a lot of fun."
The Spring has Sprung sessions are open to families with children of all ages and there is no need to book places.
