Representatives from the University of Aberdeen have attended the United Nations Conference of the Parties, COP27, taking place in Eqypt from 6-18 November

Professor David Burslem, Interdisciplinary Director for Environment and Biodiversity, Professor Frans de Vries, Chair in Environmental and Resource Economics, Business School, Elouise Mayall, PhD Candidate, School of Biological Sciences, Karendeep Sidhu, PhD Candidate, School of Biological Sciences and Adam Lambert, Vice President for Activities, Aberdeen University Students Association will attend the climate summit to highlight the University’s ongoing contribution to climate change research.

Staff, students and members of the public are invited to join the University of Aberdeen attendees for an online seminar taking place from 2pm-3pm on Friday 2 December.

Reflections on COP27 will include a discussion on the role of the various COP climate change conferences and provide insights into the various discussions and debates dominating the agenda at COP27.
