AHRC Centre for Irish and Scottish Studies and the Walter Scott Research Centre
The AHRC Centre for Irish and Scottish Studies and the Walter Scott Research Centre at the University of Aberdeen will host a textual editing symposium on 7 – 8 November 2008.
The event will begin at 1pm on Friday 7 and end at lunch time on Saturday 8 and will take place at the AHRC Centre for Irish and Scottish Studies, Humanity Manse, College Bounds, Old Aberdeen.
The aim of the event is to share the experiences of the scholarly editions which have been produced in Scotland in recent years, to hear plans for forthcoming editions, and to invite open discussion on scholarly editing in the twenty-first century.
