About and CFP

The Sixth Irish-Scottish Academic Initiative conference will be held in Aberdeen on the weekend of 30th October – 1 November to celebrate 10 years since the establishment of the Institute of Irish and Scottish Studies at the University of Aberdeen. The conference will commence at 2pm on Friday 30th and will conclude at lunchtime on November 1st. Proposals for papers should be sent to Professor Cairns Craig (cairns.craig@abdn.ac.uk) by 18 September 2009. Support for travel and accommodation may be available to those whose papers are accepted.

About ISAI

ISAI was set up in 1995 as a formal link between universities in Scotland and Ireland. Members include the University of Aberdeen, the University of Strathclyde, the University of Edinburgh, Queen's University, Belfast and Trinity College, Dublin.

Programme

Conference begins at 2pm on Friday 30 October and ends on Sunday 1 November after lunch. There will be a buffet on the evening of Friday 30, and a conference dinner on Saturday 31 October. Registration for these is essential. Further details and full programme t.b.a.
