Our team are dedicated to pioneering initiatives that streamline pathways to accessing health data for research, while simutaneously bolstering the robustness of the governance and security processes which keep health data safe. To achieve these goals, we continue to partner with other Safe Havens, Trusted Research Environments, and Industrial partners on funded projects to improve our infrastructure, develop new tools and processes, and increase the transparency around the access to patient data for research purposes.

Synthetic data for public benefit
DaSH to lead on Research Data Scotland funded project, working with other Scottish Safe Havens to develop a framework for the application of synthetic datasets in health research.
Improvements to transparency around health data access
DaSH awarded funding in an initiative launched by Health Data Research UK, funded by the Medical Research Council, to improve transparency around the access of health data for research.
