This course aims to provide students with opportunities to explore, in practice, the theories and understanding of different approaches to learning, including the play-based approach, in Nursery and P1.

Students will have the opportunity to develop praxis over two blocks of placement in the same class, in the same school, providing opportunities for experiential learning. Students will have specific tutor directed tasks to complete to support their learning experience as well as specific time when they will take responsibility for groups/the whole class.
