This course introduces the skills of liaison interpreting, develops confidence in conversation management and performance evaluation as well as students´ research and documentation skills.
It also provides opportunities for students to practice intercultural mediation through liaison interpreting in a structured and supported manner.

This course will help students in:
1. Selecting, extracting and synthesising key information from written and spoken sources;

In course assessment. Students working in pairs to complete a 1hr exercise to give an oral presentation on language specific work reviewing three pieces of text from English to advanced language and three from advanced language into English. |
