Course Description

Frontiers in Earth Science is about frontiers in geological knowledge, e.g. the limits of what we know and also the research methods we use to cross these frontiers.

During the course you will be asked to critically appraise “scientific” opinion (or at least appraise an opinion scientifically), to review data and from it synthesise scientific perspectives and frame an answer to a question in a scientific way.
