Course Overview

Level 4 module 1

This is the final part of the e pre-sessional programme that helps international students meet their language conditions prior to going on to their UG/PG programmes.  Level 4 takes students from B2 -C1. Level 4 is divided into two five week modules. This first module is a formative module. It allows students to practice key skills and assessment tasks before the final assessments in module 2

There is no resit option for this course as students do not need to pass level 4 module 1 in order to progress to level 4 module 2. 

 The course provides formative feedback to students about the skills that they need to develop in order to meet the language requirements. Where students do not meet the projected target exit points for certain skills, they are given additional support to develop those skills.
