This course is designed to build upon the teaching in BDS Year 2, 3 & 4 within non-restorative clinical dentistry teaching for the BDS Student.
The course teaching in BDS 5 is composed of Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, and Special Care Dentistry sessions.
Teaching within Clinical Dentistry 2 includes the used of learned clinical techniques within our patient clinics.

Clinical Dentistry 2 provides students with teaching within non-restorative areas of clinical dentistry. This includes Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, and Special Care Dentistry sessions.
As you progress through the BDS programme the teaching will build on previous years learning.
This final year of the course provides teaching on knowledge, and the practical application, within Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, and Special Care Dentistry.
This final year of the programme is heavily clinical treatment session based, meaning much of the teaching is undertaken during the practical application of learning from BDS 2,3 and 4.
