Consists of a supervised project which provides experience of
investigating a real problem in computing science, or a computing
application/technology. Presenting the results obtained is an integral
part of the investigation.

Formative feedback for the project plan will be provided in written form to those students whose plan is not deemed adequate. Additionally, formative feedback on performance (for all students) will be provided informally during weekly meetings with the project supervisor. The student has the opportunity to generate a draft of the thesis prior to submission for review by the supervisor who provides comments. |
