Course Overview

This course provides each student the opportunity to design and implement a community music project of their choosing, working with a range of community partnerships in the Northeast of Scotland.

Course Description

This course will explore in detail how to design, negotiated, implement, and evaluate a community music project.

Lectures will cover a broad range of subjects connecting previous theoretical and conceptual studies in Community Music (MU3037 and MU3538) to real life practical situations.

Student will undertake preliminary observational placements in first half session with identified placement hosts before delivering a specifically designed project for them in second half sessions.
