As part of the BMus (Hons) Education degree programme, this professional placement provides further opportunity for students to apply and develop their knowledge of issues in Scottish Education and pedagogical theory, building towards the transition into their induction year.

Students will further develop their professional practice by taking full responsibility for lessons and sequences of lessons in a new context. Considerations for professional development will be critically examined through professional enquiry. This will be contextualised within Music and Music Technology and will require the student to undertake evidence gathering and enhanced professional reflection.
