This course is for educational (and other) professionals to take the first steps on a risk management journey specifically tailored to their own professional context by understanding the issues surrounding hazard and risk.

It will enable students to become more effective professionals by being able to:

  • demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of hazard and risk and their consequences within society
  • apply such knowledge and understanding to understanding the concepts of hazard and risk within their professional context
