This course aims to enable students to follow a personal interest in depth through professional enquiry spanning across placements in 2nd and early/1st level classrooms. Students will bring to this focused in-depth study, learning from courses across all four years.

Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers between placement 1 & 2, review data and methodology. Students will collect data during SE 9 weeks in 2nd Level and SE first 5 weeks in Early/First Level and reflect on this against the literature review they have already completed to analyse findings. Students will have opportunities for discussion on an individual and group basis to develop their knowledge and understanding of the research and enquiry process as well as the focus they have chosen.
