The course is practical based and thus consists of student led group work centred on pro-sections of cadavers and a workbook that is handed out at the beginning of the course. Other resources used are anatomical models and interactive learning resources on MyAberdeen. The course concentrates on the study of the locomotor system (limbs and back) and the respiratory, alimentary, cardiovascular and nervous systems as they are arrayed in the thorax and abdomen.

4x Online Tests on MyAberdeen (25% each) Covering all anatomical regions taught on the course and consisting of single best answer questions and short answer questions based on photos or videos of cadaveric specimens.
