Course Description

This course is designed with the support of employers to prepare students to make appropriate career decisions by giving them both the theoretical basis and practical skills needed. It enables students to consider a range of career choice theories and apply these to their own situation and background. The course also explores applications/CVs, interview and selection training, career option awareness, enterprise & entrepreneurship, graduate attribute achievement, networking, labour market information, skills identification and aptitude and personality testing and aims to promote enhanced job-search skills.

Students will become better equipped to apply for any type of employment including internships, vacation work and graduate employment.

Please note: Attendance at ALL lectures and workshops is compulsory.
