This course is an introduction to Law for those who don’t know anything about the subject. We will learn what Law is and why it is important for human progress. We will also consider some of the key questions in modern Scots Law.

This course provides an introduction to Law and assumes no prior engagement with Law. The course will examine what Law is, what its methods are and introduce students to some of the key debates in Scots Law. It is intended to provide an introduction for those students who may wish to take level one Law modules.
