A dissertation on a topic approved by the Director of European Studies, consisting of a 10,000 to 12,000 word research project related to a topic in European Studies. The project/subject has to be developed and researched, and the dissertation produced, with appropriate data and methodology, placing the clear argument into a wider historiographical framework.
