Course Overview

This module will help students refresh their knowledge of the first two years of study in chemistry and help them to prepare for the general exam papers in fourth year. There are no taught classes, but students are given four assessed homework exercises spread throughout the academic year.

Summative Assessments

1st Attempt: 1 one-hour written examination in December (25%), continuous assessment during winter term (25%), 1 one-hour written examination in May (25%), and continuous assessment during Spring term (25%).

Formative Assessment

Four assessed revision exercises will be given in total.
