In this course, students will develop a critical review of the current literature in the area of their thesis project. This is the first step towards completing a professional level piece of research under the supervision of a member of academic staff.

This course will involve lectures about writing papers, reviewing the literature and reference management, meetings between student and supervisor, and independent study. Students will produce a critical review of the literature which is the assessment for the course.
