The course emphasises two broad theoretical and practical domains: Theoretically, it provides the theoretical foundations of end-to-end supply chains, encompassing types of supply chains, relationships among supply chain players, logistics, warehousing, and other service providers. Practically, students will learn how to optimise performance and solve supply chain problems using software, example Excel. Students are involved through lectures, seminars, and computer workshops/labs. Students actively solve a variety of exercises that prepare them to be supply chain managers and executives capable of utilising supply chain tools and techniques for optimising their supply chain performance.
