Course Overview

The aim of this course is to develop understanding of hypothesis-led research and to provide an opportunity to study advanced science concepts and critically evaluate research led by an experienced member of academic staff.

Course Description

This course focuses on intensive study of advanced research topics, concepts, and cutting-edge experimental approaches through a series of research seminars. Key research papers linked to the seminar topics will provide students with an opportunity to explore the rationale and evidence leading to new scientific hypotheses. Tutorials will allow students to engage in discussion with researchers to support learning and develop understanding and critical thinking skills.
