Course Overview

This course will enable the experienced practitioner to gain knowledge, skills and experience in their chosen field of practice.  The experienced practitioner as part of their continuous professional development will identify an area of practice they wish to develop in and map their learning and assessment to the course learning outcomes in order to develop in practice whilst gaining academic learning and credits.

Course Description

This course will allow the experienced Practitioner to identify their own learning needs and how these can be met to develop their own knowledge, skills and experience whilst meeting the learning outcomes of the course.  Each practitioner will be expected to identify their own learning needs inline with the course intended learning outcomes and have a plan of how these will be addressed and completed.  The experienced Practitioner will devise a learning contract along with their clinical and academic supervisors. 

Aim:- This course will enable experienced clinical Practitioners to develop the knowledge, skills and expertise required to fulfil their  role within a specialised field or area of practice.
