The Project is the culmination of the previous taught courses of the OGEM Programme. It will require integration of different elements and assumes a general knowlege of all aspects of previous courses. The project subject can have many forms. It could be: - A review of a particular topic (e.g. the russian taxation strategy) - Original economic modelling (e.g. the otimum fiscal strategy for Angola) - An assessment of a process (e.g. effectiveness of solvent aided EOR) - A market investigation (e.g. is there a market for oil support vessels servicing offshore wind farms) - An assessment of the viability of a new enterprise or new technology (e.g. could a bottled gas plant in Nigeria make money?) The one thing that all the topics have in common is that they must be able to be expressed as a question, which the student then investigates.
Information on contact teaching time is available from the course guide.
