This course begins by introducing you to a broad picture of the corporate world. We quickly move to a discussion about financial statements and corporate performance helping our understanding of the critical roles played by accountants. Thereafter, we examine important concepts in detail; including, the time value of money, understanding value, understanding risk and capital budgeting. Throughout our discussions we will be using real world accounting examples to consolidate our knowledge and understanding of this important relationship.
