The course will provide the opportunity for students who are new to academic study to gain the core baseline skills and experience in order to undertake further academic education.
The Introduction to Academic skills course will provide the learners the opportunity to develop and apply core academic skills including study planning, literature search and reviews, reflection and reflective writing, library skills and referencing. These skills are transferable and can be utilised when undertaking any academic and / or formal work in the future.
Aim:- This course will enable the learners to acquire and develop the core academic skills for studying in an academic context.
