Employment Law: Tribunal Practice and Procedure

The course will cover preparing and representing clients at Employment tribunals, and to develop advocacy and communication skills in dealing with and representing clients involved in employment disputes. Key skills will also be covered such as communication with clients; client and witness interviews; advocacy skills; drafting, negotiation, and transaction based research.

Summative Assessments

The assessment consists of 7 discrete elements, including participation and professionalism (pass/fail). Students must pass all 7 elements of assessment to pass the course and the final mark awarded for the course will be based on the marks obtained in the first 6 elements of assessment. Resit: students are able to resit elements 1-6 of the assessment.
