First Term
The content of the course
will depend on the requirements of each student's proposed PhD project
and will be worked out between the student and his/her prospective
PhD supervisor based on the student’s interests and the Department’s
supervisory capacity. The course may be taught by any staff member and focused
on any philosophical topic that staff are able to supervise in the year the
course is offered. The structure of the course is supervised research and
discussion resulting in a final essay

Research Topics 1, and the Department’s supervisory capacity. The course may be taught by any staff
