This course covers the CFA syllabus courtesy of our friends from FitchLearning who will teach you week by week and prepare you for the CFA level 1 exam. You will also write an essay reflecting on professional and academic approaches to finance

Students go to Edinburgh for the CFA exam. We travel on the Friday (School provides privately hired bus and overnight accommodation and next day breakfast and Lunch). Students would have to buy their own meal on the Friday night. The students are transported back to Aberdeen on Saturday evening.

One 50% in-class test (testing understanding of content) and one 3,000 word essay (50%), testing understanding of the course material in a broader learning context. Resit: 100 % 2hr written examination.
