The world of international finance is a closed box to many. This course will introduce the players, markets and products in an institutional setting. There will be a careful balance between concepts and numeric skills. Using the trading floor will be a key component of this module.

Summative Assessments

1st attempt: multiple choice test (20%); essay (80%).

Resit: 100% report.

Formative Assessment

There are no assessments for this course.

Feedback

From informal formative assessments during the delivery week and following informal presentations. Two sessions in the assessment week will allow students to get feedback on their work and on their ideas as they are being developed. Feedback from the multiple choice test will helpo students prepare for the main assessment.
