Last modified: 27 Feb 2018 19:04

Course Overview

This course develops a mathematical and statistical ‘toolbox’ for the whole programme. These tools will be applied to finance-related topics and combine both the technique and the interpretation of the outcomes. The first part of the course covers basic mathematical models and the second develops standard data analysis methods, including multivariate regression. The final part of the course examines shortcomings in standard models and approaches, describing ways of overcoming them.
