The module utilises key content from entrepreneurship literature to facilitate student learning. Notably, the Business Model Canvas, Design Thinking and Learn Start-up, and the Entrepreneurs Journey. This is integrated with core marketing understanding, most notably the Value Proposition, Segmenting, Targeting and Positioning, Branding, and Marketing Communications and also an appreciation of key accounting and finance issues (assets, liabilities, cash flow etc.).

This course sets out to provide participants an understanding of the business issues related to art projects, artists and art organisations. Specifically, the course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to conceptualise, plan, finance and manage commercial and subsidised arts projects.

Individual assignment, 5 min video pitch and 500 word summary(40%); Group assignment, 15 min team presentation, 7 page report (2500 words) (30%); Individual assignment, 1500 word report (30%).
Resit: students who fail to achieve an overall grade of D3 can resubmit individual failed elements. Modules with resubmitted elements are capped at D3.
