This course explores interactions between the WTO and other issues. It critically analyses the classical and contemporary challenges in the context of environment, human rights and labour rights, customs and free trade, security, energy, intellectual property and investment.

Summative Assessments

1st attempt: Essay (2000 words) (50%); Online (Written) Debate Contribution (30%); Discussion Board Contribution 20%).

Resit: Oral exam directed at those learning outcomes not previously achieved.

Students will be provided with feedback following each discussion board and debate contribution, as well as on the essay.  Additionally there will be short videos explaining the marking and assessment criteria.
