Course Description

This is a capstone module providing students with an opportunity to synthesise the knowledge obtained through the individual modules. Students work on live (real) challenges, producing a substantive piece of work that incorporates: assessment of a marketplace; evaluation of competitors; opportunity identification and specification; recommendations for action; and a plan for implementation.

Summative Assessments

Students are required to submit all elements.

To pass the course students must obtain an overall CAS grade of D3.

Elements:

1. 1 x 800 Word Reflective Review (20%)

2. 1-page (400 word) Memo/Summary of Client Brief (10%):

3. 1 x 5-minute video presentation (recorded) (20%)

4. 8-page (3000 word) Written Report (50%)

Resit: students may resit (resubmit) a failing element once with the mark for the failing element capped at CAS D3.
