Course Description

Course aims:

1. Understand and reflect on the theory and practice of management and leadership  in medical education and where this sits in regards to their own practice.

2. Differentiate the many roles of vision and governance in medical education and identify its impact in their own areas of practice.

3. Be able to evaluate evidence in the areas covered and suggest/justify appropriate research methods to build the evidence in those areas.

Summative Assessments

Summative Assessements: Portfolio pieces, one 1500 words, on one of workshop topics and how this realtes to the students practice. Protocal for a Medical Education research project, one 2500 words.
