The content of this course will be dictated to some extent by the students’ needs and aspirations. This flexibility offers the opportunity for students to request and receive dedicated training on topics or techniques that they identify, to discuss issues that they are interested in and to practice skills in a supportive and informal environment (with no assessment attached). It also provides a forum for students to engage with some staff and professional ecologists who they would not otherwise meet on their courses. Students will be encouraged to participate in fully in tutorial discussions and activities.
