Course Overview

This course introduces you to the topics of logistic regression, effect sizes and statistical power.  You will have hands-on experience in simulating data to examine issues relating to effect size and statistical power.  You will also gain an understanding of factor analysis and multidimensional scaling, using SPSS to conduct these analyses.

You will also be introduced to a number of data collection methods and data analytic techniques commonly used by qualitative researchers, and will learn more about designing and using questionnaires.
