This course will enable you to critically explore evidence based practice (EBP) within modern professional health care. Current sources of evidence are identified, discussed and critically appraised. Application to professional practice is a key feature of this course and you will consider strategies to plan, implement and evaluate change in response to relevant evidence. You will be encouraged to draw on your clinical and professional interests to consider effective strategies to overcome barriers to using EBP. Guest speakers from clinical practice and research settings ensure that the course content reflects contemporary health care.
