This course provides advanced level drug metabolism and includes the importance of drug transporters in the drug discovery process. Mechanisms of drug and oxidative stress and immunopharmacology are described. External experts provide detailed teaching on a range of topics which can include toxicopathology, immunotoxicology, reproductive toxicology, risk assessment and an industrial perspective on the drug discovery process.
