1st attempt: Continuous assessment 100% Task 1 (75%) Assessed on CAS Scale Students will produce
a multi-media model showing
evidence of a transformative relationship, which they have facilitated. The
relationship, its context and impact should be critically analysed. The model
will include: ·
Links to the professional value base and code of
ethics ·
Links to the wider social and political context ·
Evidence of the dispositions and skills used in the
relationship ·
A consideration of change and how it has occurred Task 2 In addition, students
must contribute 3 critical reflections
on their experience of power relations and ethics in practice to the online
learning community. Each should address different kinds of relationships such
as with partners, colleagues, community activists, learners. The 3
reflections should be contributed at different points in the course and
should amount to a total of at least 750
words. (25%) Pass or fail To pass the course
both elements must achieve a PASS. Resit: One resubmission of either
part if deemed unsatisfactory. Task 1: Resubmission of multi-media model.
Task 2 may require and alternative task if participation in group is not
possible:1200 word reflection on power and ethics in practice and in online
learning.
