Basics of Remote Sensing and Geospatial Analysis" introduces the principles and applications of remote sensing technology and geospatial analysis. Students will gain hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro for geospatial data analyses. The course covers a range of topics, including the main principles behind remote sensing, remote sensing across the electromagnetic spectrum, digital image processing, watershed analysis using DEM, interpolation methods and land use land cover mapping. Through practical exercises, students will learn to integrate and analyze geospatial datasets.
