This course will give you an introduction to role of diet, physical activity, stress and environment on preventative medicine to promote health and wellbeing in adults.

Course Description

The course will highlight the relationship between diet and health for non-communicable diseases and promote evidence-based learning to be able to evaluate a range of hierarchy of evidence. You will gain insight in how nutrition & movement can positively or negatively influence lifelong health. The importance of stress and resilience on mood and food intake will be explored, along with sleep to promote longevity. Finally, the role of environmental and social factors in influencing lifestyle, such as shift-work and intermittent fasting will be highlighted.
