This module is offered to all who wish to enhance knowledge and skills in this area in order to advance their professionalism in working with young people. This includes specifically class room teachers, existing principal teachers, faculty heads and senior managers within schools as well as community educationalists, health and social workers.

- Clarification of attitudes and values;
- Caring principles, policies and practices - meeting the developmental needs of young people/;
- CfE-the support entitlement;
- Whole school/college/institutional approaches support; Pastoral ethos and care systems;
- Support roles and responsibilities; Multi-agency working; Inter-agency Home-school partnerships;
- Child protection and inter-departmental/inter-agency/team working;
- Case studies;
