Course Overview

This course will provide you with the tools and techniques to excel at leading and managing projects. From establishing what projects are to exploring the development of project management, you will gain insights into the organisation of and approaches to projects. Leading and Managing Projects will show you how to identify types of projects, and help you break down a project to ensure you address all the vital elements involved. You will be introduced to different strategies and equipped with a number of frameworks to plan and execute a successful project while enhancing your understanding of what project management involves. By identifying challenges and seeking solutions, from planning to the project end, you will apply your learning to real life scenarios and reflect on personal experience, thinking about how you can take your new knowledge and skills into your professional context.

Course Description

This course will provide you with the tools and techniques to excel at leading and managing projects. This course aims to:

  • Provide you with a theoretical and practical introduction to the management problems associated with complex projects, and to technical and organisational approaches to solving them
