What can people do to improve their health and well-being? In this course, students will learn key theories about behaviour and behaviour change, including behaviour change techniques, and try them out for improving their own health and well-being. We will address the following questions: What makes people healthier and happier? What is the best way to measure success? What strategies are most promising for improving health and well-being? How do friends and family influence health and well-being?

What can people do to improve their health and well-being? We will aim to better understand the following questions:
• What makes people healthier and happier?
• What is the best way to measure success?
• Is there a formula for happiness and health?
• Why do people find it difficult to change their behaviour?
• What do we know are the most promising strategies for improving health and well-being?
• How do friends and family influence health and well-being?
• How can people build happier and healthier relationships?

The instructors will provide example quizzes and posters in sessions before the assessment sessions and give timely feedback for students to improve their work in the future. The instructors will provide answers to the exam questions to individual students, and give feedback on the posters after the presentation to improve future poster presentations. |
