This course involves study of selected key topics, debates and texts relevant to advanced study of Gaelic culture and society. The course may have different thematic emphases from year to year, and may include study of literary texts, visual culture, essays, testimonials, linguistic theories and histories.

This course enables students to study in depth a specialist subject relating to Gaelic studies. Students will be given a range of topics and texts to choose from to enhance and deepen their knowledge of Gaelic studies. The course may have different thematic emphases from year to year, and may include study of literary texts, visual culture, essays, testimonials, linguistic theories.
