Since AFG College with the University of Aberdeen launched last September with two undergraduate programmes in Business Management and Accountancy & Finance, the number of enrolled students has reached over 350 full timers across the four academic years. Particular emphasis has been placed on extra-curricular activities, which has included the formation of an entrepreneurs group amongst the student body. A number of our current students have expressed a desire to either start their own business, or are already involved in some type of start-up.
The collaboration between AFG and Badaya will enable our students to take full advantage of Badaya’s specialist knowledge and expertise, as well as giving those budding entrepreneurs an insight into what’s involved in running their own business.
AFG College Principal Brian Buckley said “The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding with Badaya marks a significant step towards providing Aberdeen University students the opportunity to develop real life business skills and moreover, fulfil their entrepreneurial aspirations. AFG College with the University of Aberdeen are proud to be in a position to collaborate with Bedaya. We will work closely together to ensure that our students actively engage with the excellent services and opportunities that Bedaya provide."
