Fully funded MRes Programme on visual processing in patients with blindness after brain injury
Applications are invited for a one year studentship to support a graduate student to complete a Master of Research (MRes) in Psychology. The studentship is funded by RS Macdonald Trust and commences on 1st August 2016 for a period of 12-months. The financial support covers fees at home/EU level and a stipend of £850 per month. You will complete a series of experiments aimed at understanding the visual processing in patients with blindness after brain injury. Responsibilities include research administration, data collection, analysis and preparation of reports.
You must have a first class or a high upper-second class degree in Psychology or related disciplines. Previous research experience, familiarity with MatLab and eye-movement recording/analysis are advantageous. The successful applicant is required to successfully complete a Good Clinical Practice course.
